FAT 09

I've just recently started using twitter.. and I'm officially hooked.
I couldn't go to FAT last night because I was studying for an exam today, but I managed to hear all about it via twitter posts! And with the picture posts this morning, I felt like I was there! Thank you internet community!

If you missed Day 1, shame on you! It was awesome. Jillian Grant's bathing suits were unreal (I LOVED the men in loincloths and the headpieces for the women). Diepo's classy boudoir clothing were sexy and sophisticated, and Jessica Mary Clayton's white sequined dresses were cute, proper and a little bit edgy.

And why would Kate Moss go to a random Chinatown nail place in NYC??? There's about a thousand other places she SHOULD have gone. Plus, she's mingling with commoners..

why is michael jackson wearing balmain?

We knew Michael Jackson was strange.. but wearing women's F/W 2009 Balmain? I'm not too sure this is really the kind of press that Balmain wants... but the FW military jackets are reminiscent of Michael Jackson jackets circa the 90s, maybe he's their inspiration?

I think that top would look a lot better on me with some sweet leather pants... I wish.

i missed mk and peaches.

When we were in NY, me and Leigh passed the Bowery Hotel and saw super stylish people outside. Too bad we couldn't get in and we went to the Bowery Electric instead. Looks like we missed out on seeing MK and Peaches. Next time we'll try harder.
